Application Area of Laser Cutting

 

1. Metal plates, which is not suitable for mould, or have complicated profiles 

can apply for laser cutting. Cutting thickness: mild steel with less than 12mm,

stainless steel with less than 6mm.

2. Stainless steel for decoration, advertisement or service industry (thickness

 is 3mm) or signs or fronts in non-metal material (thickness is 20mm).

Cutting thin plates(0-3mm Carbon Steel)

1. Fast Speed: (2000W fiber 1mm speed of 25m/min);

2. High qualified cutting result;

From difference of current and gas, plasma can be classified as

Ordinary plasma, High definition plasma, Super Definition plasma.

Ordinary plasma basically takes bridge-current or IGBT current;

It is without shileding gas and cutting with air.

High definition plasma is applying IGBT current, like Hypertherm HPR series,

Victor VC series and Kjellberg HF80/165; While Kjellberg FineFocus and HF135

is applying thyristor; Kjellberg HF440 combines IGBT and thyristor. Besides,

high definition plasma enjoys shielding gas, cutting with air, oxygen, nitrogen,

argon and mixed gas.

 

Super Definition is an optimizing for CNC and software and realizing cutting effectiveness

by controlling direction, THC, overburning lead-out and arc closed in advance.

Tips: Life of consumables are related to current and piercing times.
